Minga is seeking instructors to teach a wide-variety of inspiring hands-on workshops that promote a self-sufficient lifestyle. Anyone can teach with Minga. Our instructors are everyday people who are passionate about what they do. You don’t need to have teaching experience to build a workshop with Minga. We’ll help you get there.

  • Meat curing including brining, salting, jerky and salami making (doesn’t need to be all in one class)

  • Modern traditional skills such as spinning, weaving, broom and tool-making
  • Herbal medicine
  • Permaculture intro
  • Gardening skills
  • Backyard composter building (Berkley method perhaps?)
  • Worm bin building

  • Growing mushrooms
  • Backyard chickens, rabbits, ducks
  • Building a solar dehydrator
  • Building with cobb or strawbale
  • Creating ponds and other water features in the backyard system, like greywater system
